Barbour County Representation

Countywide list — use your address to find which officials represent your home

Understanding the cards

Districts, terms, and elections

A county can contain more than one legislative district. The district shown on each card tells you which seat that lawmaker represents. It does not necessarily mean every person in the county is represented by every lawmaker listed.

Find who represents my address

House of Delegates

Term length: 2 years

Current cycle: 2024 to 2026

Next regular election: 2026

Term limits: None currently in effect

State Senate

Term length: 4 years

Elections: Staggered

Half the Senate: Elected every 2 years

Term limits: None currently in effect

How West Virginia elections work →Senate seats are staggered, so a senator's next election depends on that specific seat.
