About John B. McCuskey
John B. "JB" McCuskey is the 34th Attorney General of West Virginia. He was inaugurated on January 13, 2025.
Before becoming Attorney General, McCuskey served two terms as State Auditor of West Virginia beginning in 2017, and previously served in the West Virginia House of Delegates representing Kanawha County.
Attorney General McCuskey is a graduate of the West Virginia University College of Law. He and his wife Sarah live in Charleston with their family.
