About Kris Warner

Kris Warner is the 31st Secretary of State of West Virginia. He was inaugurated on January 13, 2025.

Before his election as Secretary of State, Warner served as Executive Director of the West Virginia Economic Development Authority, and previously chaired the West Virginia Republican Party.

Secretary Warner is a Preston County native and small-business owner. He and his wife Camie live in Morgantown.
