About Randy Smith
Randy Smith represents the 14th Senatorial District in the West Virginia Senate and serves as President of the Senate for the 87th Legislature.
Under West Virginia Code §6A-1-4, the President of the Senate is designated Lieutenant Governor of West Virginia by statute. West Virginia does not separately elect a Lieutenant Governor.
Senator Smith is a lifelong West Virginian from Tucker County and has served in the West Virginia Senate since 2015.
